WESLEY CHAPEL, FL — Families planning a Halloween outing at The Shops at Wiregrass should update their calendars: Candy Crawl has been rescheduled to Sunday, Oct. 18, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. because of inclement weather.
The event on Paseo Drive will feature trick-or-treating, crafts, games, live entertainment and Touch-a-Truck activities. The announced lineup also includes a Halloween obstacle course, a bounce attraction and a scavenger hunt with a prize.
Costumes are encouraged but optional. Contest categories include children, families, pets and groups. Participants can register at the Tampa Bay Moms Group and Fun 4 Tampa Kids table near the stage.
Free trick-or-treat bags will be available while supplies last. Families may also bring their own bags, a useful way to arrive prepared.
The shopping center links to Eventbrite registration for a chance to win giveaways. Candy Crawl also benefits TBMG Cares, Inc., which supports Tampa Bay mothers, their families and the broader community.
Before leaving home, families should check the official event page for any further updates.
