Wesley Chapel has another place to watch a game, meet friends or settle the family debate over wings versus pizza. Tampa Joe’s Restaurant and Sports Bar is now open at The Hub at Lexington Oaks, bringing the familiar Tampa-area name to 26951 Halter Loop.

The restaurant serves lunch and dinner daily. Its published hours are 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. Friday and Saturday. The business lists dine-in, takeout, delivery, catering and happy-hour food among its services.

Tampa Joe’s is built around the sports-bar experience, with televisions and football watch parties, but its menu is broader than a plate of wings. The restaurant highlights burgers, pizza, ribs, salads, sandwiches, pasta, steak and seafood, giving groups enough choices that nobody has to pretend nachos are a balanced family dinner.

The opening also adds momentum to The Hub, the newer commercial center at Lexington Oaks. La Creación Bistro and other businesses have already drawn customers to Halter Loop, while additional food and service concepts continue to fill the development. For nearby neighborhoods, the practical benefit is another dining option without crossing the busiest parts of SR 56.

There is also a local connection behind the return. Co-owner Mike Goodwin previously operated O’Brien’s Irish Pub in Wesley Chapel, and the Tampa Joe’s name was revived after the former Tampa location closed. That makes this less like a random chain landing and more like an experienced local operator returning with a familiar concept.

The opening does not need a dramatic promise to be useful news. It is a new restaurant, it is operating now and residents can decide for themselves whether the wings deserve a rematch. For The Hub, every occupied storefront also makes the center feel a little less like a construction project and a little more like a neighborhood destination.
