For residents of Wesley Chapel and communities across Pasco County, Thursday is the last opportunity to request that a Vote-by-Mail ballot be mailed to their home for the 2026 General Election.

The deadline is 5 p.m. on Thursday, October 22. Requests can be submitted online through https://www.pascovotes.gov/VBM_Request or by calling the Pasco County Supervisor of Elections at 800-851-8754.

Why this matters to Wesley Chapel residents

Vote by Mail can be useful for residents who work long hours, care for children or older family members, travel, have mobility limitations or simply prefer to vote from home. But requesting a ballot is only the first step.

After receiving it, voters must complete the ballot, sign the return envelope and make sure it reaches the Supervisor of Elections’ Office by 7 p.m. on Election Day, Tuesday, November 3. A postmark alone does not satisfy the deadline.

Voters can track the status of their ballot through https://PascoVotes.ballottrax.net/voter/.

What if you do not want to vote by mail?

Requesting a mail ballot is not the only way to vote. Pasco County also offers:

  • Early voting: October 19–31, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Election Day voting: November 3, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., at the voter’s assigned polling place.

Before voting, residents should confirm that their registration and address are current and review their personalized sample ballot.

What voters should avoid

Do not wait until the last day if you plan to vote by mail. Postal delays, an outdated address or a signature that does not match the signature on file can create problems.

Residents should use only the official Pasco County Elections website or phone number. Do not submit personal information through unofficial links or messages claiming to arrange a ballot.
