WESLEY CHAPEL, FL — Pasco County Libraries users signing in to Libby or OverDrive will need both their library card number and library PIN beginning Thursday, October 15.
The library system says OverDrive introduced the security requirement and recommends checking credentials to avoid login delays.
Which PIN Should You Use?
According to Pasco Libraries, the default PIN is your last name in capital letters. Digital library card holders created their own PIN during registration.
How to Reset Your PIN
Visit the library catalog’s sign-in screen and select “Reset My Library PIN.” Enter your card number or email address and follow the instructions.
Your library account must have an email address on file. The reset link expires after two days.
If the message does not arrive, check your spam folder or contact a library branch with your card number ready.
