WESLEY CHAPEL, FL — A Pasco County library card now opens the door to more than 25,000 digital comics, graphic novels, manga and picture books through Comics Plus, a new addition to the county’s library services.
The service is free for Pasco County library cardholders and available around the clock on computers, tablets and smartphones, according to the county’s announcement. Readers can access titles online or download them for offline reading.
One useful difference from traditional borrowing: readers do not have to wait for someone else to finish a title. Comics Plus provides unlimited, simultaneous access, with no holds, waiting lists or return dates. Multiple readers can enjoy the same book at the same time.
For Wesley Chapel households, that means another reading option available from home, without scheduling a trip to a library branch.
How to Get Started
Visit the Pasco County Libraries digital-content page, scroll to Comics Plus and select “Visit Website” to open the library’s access portal. Readers can also download the Comics Plus app through their device’s app store.
Have your Pasco County library card ready and follow the sign-in instructions. Anyone who needs help accessing the collection can contact library staff.
Readers participating in library challenges have another useful feature: Comics Plus can automatically record titles and reading minutes in a linked Beanstack account.
