WESLEY CHAPEL, FL — October 18, 2026 — Parents looking for something fun to do with their young children can mark Wednesday morning on their calendars. The Shops at Wiregrass will host its October KidQuest celebration on October 21, from 10 to 11 a.m., bringing music, costumes and hands-on activities to Center Court. Admission is free.
A Musical Morning for Little Ones
Mr. Tommy & GiGi's Musical Show for Kids will invite young participants to sing, dance and enjoy interactive entertainment. Unlike a traditional concert, this gathering encourages movement and participation. For parents of energetic toddlers, that may be welcome news.
Costumes Are Part of the Celebration
The event includes a seasonal costume parade. Families can bring their children dressed as their favorite characters, from superheroes and animals to princesses. The official announcement confirms a parade, but does not list a judged costume competition or prizes. Parents and grandparents can enjoy the atmosphere and capture photographs.
Activities From My Gym New Tampa
My Gym New Tampa will provide hands-on activities that add movement and interactive play to the morning. Families seeking age recommendations or accommodations should consult the organizer for details.
Free Face Painting and Fall Memories
Complimentary face painting is also on the schedule. Together with the musical show and costume parade, it gives children several ways to enjoy the one-hour celebration. Parents may want to bring water, comfortable shoes and the usual supplies for an outing with young children.
A Community Event for Families
KidQuest provides a chance for parents, grandparents and children to meet neighbors and spend time together. A memorable family outing does not always require an entire day or an expensive ticket. Sometimes one hour of music, movement and laughter is enough.
The Shops at Wiregrass has scheduled other October events, including Candy Crawl on Sunday, October 18. KidQuest is a separate, shorter weekday gathering that may appeal particularly to families with young children.
A Wednesday Morning Worth Remembering
For Wesley Chapel families, October KidQuest is a simple opportunity to enjoy the season together. And if your child insists on wearing that superhero cape all day afterward, remember: it is October.
