The Wesley Chapel Fall Festival is over, but the Halloween calendar is not. From Tuesday, October 27, through Saturday, October 31, residents can choose from a nighttime visit to one of the most unusual places in local history, a storytime for babies, a free outdoor movie, a trunk-or-treat and traditional neighborhood trick-or-treating.
The guide below includes only activities with verified information that are still happening this week. Times and availability can change, especially for attractions with limited capacity, so check with the organizer before leaving home.
The week at a glance
Condensed schedule based on information from the organizers. Confirm availability before attending.
Tuesday and Friday: Wesley Chapel after dark
The Warlock House Enchantment offers its final two October nights of guided tours on Tuesday, October 27, and Friday, October 30. Tours begin at 7 and 10 p.m. and cost $10 per person. Online reservations are available; admission at the door is cash only, and walk-ins are accepted when space allows.
The name may suggest scares, but the organizer makes clear that this is not a haunted house. There are no hidden actors or staged jump scares. The tour introduces visitors to the sculptures, gardens, architecture and stories of Lewis VanDercar, the artist known as the “Warlock of Wesley Chapel.” It is an option for people who prefer curiosity, art and local history to a conventional horror attraction.
Wednesday: a first Halloween for the youngest visitors
The Wesley Chapel Branch Library will hold “First-o-ween — Baby’s First Halloween Storytime” on Wednesday, October 28, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. The program is for infants up to 12 months old and will take place in the library’s Multipurpose Room at 27531 Mystic Oak Blvd., Wesley Chapel.
For families with children in that age group, the program offers a quieter celebration suited to a baby’s pace. The official event page describes it as a special Halloween-themed storytime.
Friday: Halloweentown under the stars
On Friday, October 30, Tampa Premium Outlets will close its “Movies Under the Stars” series with a screening of Halloweentown. The movie begins at 6 p.m. at The Greenery, and admission is free. Free popcorn will also be available while supplies last.
The outlet is at 2300 Grand Cypress Drive in Lutz. Although the mailing address is Lutz, the shopping center is part of the immediate routine of many Wesley Chapel families. A practical recommendation is to arrive early enough to choose a spot and not count on popcorn remaining available.

Saturday: a daytime festival and candy after dark
Carmel Friendship Church will hold its Fall Festival Celebration on Saturday, October 31, from 1 to 5 p.m. at 30081 Wells Road in Wesley Chapel. The program includes a trunk-or-treat, chili cook-off, dessert bake-off, food, games, prizes and activities for different ages. Participation in the trunk-or-treat and the contests listed by the organizer is free; specific registration may be required for people who want to compete, decorate a vehicle or volunteer.
After the festival, attention turns to the neighborhoods. Wesley Chapel is unincorporated, and Pasco County does not establish official trick-or-treat hours. In practice, families go out on Halloween evening, but they should follow the hours and rules posted by their own homeowners association or community.
That also means there is no single map or schedule that applies to every neighborhood. Before taking children to another community, confirm whether visitors are allowed and where parking is permitted without blocking driveways, sidewalks or emergency access.
Before heading out for candy
Practical guidance for families; follow your community’s rules as well.
Major Wesley Chapel roads such as State Road 54, State Road 56 and Bruce B. Downs Boulevard are not appropriate places for walking during trick-or-treating. Inside communities, adults should accompany children, use lights and keep the group on available sidewalks and crossings. Call 911 in an emergency. For non-emergency matters, the Pasco Sheriff’s Office can be reached at 727-847-8102, option 7.
With choices for babies, families and residents interested in local history, the final week of October still has enough on the calendar for people who missed the Fall Festival — and even for those who attended but believe one weekend in costume is never quite enough.
