Brazilians in Wesley Chapel: how to vote this Sunday, October 4, 2026

Check where you vote, which documents to bring, and how to justify absence in the first round of the Brazilian elections.

WESLEY CHAPEL, FL — Brazilians who live in Wesley Chapel and are eligible to vote in the Brazilian elections should check their polling place before leaving home this Sunday, October 4. The first round of the 2026 Elections requires attention to voter registration, identification, and the address of each voter’s polling station.

For those whose voter registration is recorded abroad, voting is only for president and vice president of the Republic. A residential address in Wesley Chapel does not, in itself, mean that all residents vote in the same place.

Before leaving home, check where you vote

Open the e-Título app and check the address of your polling place and your polling station number. The lookup is also available through the official services of the Electoral Justice.

This verification should be the first step in planning. Even those who have voted in Florida in previous elections need to check current information: locations can change, and the voter cannot choose a polling station just because it is closer to their residence.

In the official spreadsheet of electronic voting locations consulted on the website of the Regional Electoral Court of the Federal District (TRE-DF), Wesley Chapel does not appear as a polling place.

Address confirmed in Kissimmee

TRE-DF confirms a polling location at Osceola Heritage Park, in Kissimmee:

  • Address: 1875 Silver Spur Lane, Kissimmee, FL 34744.
  • Date: Sunday, October 4, 2026.
  • Hours: from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., local Florida time.

Travel to this address only if it corresponds to the location indicated for you in the electoral lookup. The existence of a polling station in Kissimmee does not authorize all Brazilians from Wesley Chapel to vote there.

If the lookup shows another location, follow the address linked to your registration. Plan your trip after this confirmation.

Which documents to bring

Bring an official photo ID, such as a Brazilian passport, RG (Brazilian ID), or Brazilian driver’s license (CNH). The e-Título with photo can also be used for identification.

If the app does not display your photo, bring another official photo ID. The paper voter ID alone does not replace this identification.

Is your voter registration still in Brazil?

Those who still have their electoral domicile in Brazil cannot vote at polling stations set up in the United States. Being in Wesley Chapel on election day does not allow transferring the vote to a station abroad.

In this case, the way forward is to submit a justification for absence to the Electoral Justice.

How to justify absence

Those who are outside their electoral domicile can submit a justification through e-Título on election day, according to the service conditions. Abroad, justifications are also received at tables operating with electronic voting machines.

After the election, the request can be submitted through e-Título or through the Electoral Self-Service, with documentation proving the reason for absence. The general deadline to justify absence in the first round ends on December 3, 2026.

For voters registered in Brazil who are abroad on election day, there is also the possibility to justify up to 30 days after returning to Brazil. Acceptance of the request depends on analysis by the Electoral Justice.

  4. If you are outside your electoral domicile and cannot vote, check the justification options.
