WESLEY CHAPEL, FL — The Wesley Chapel Branch Library will be closed Monday, October 12, as Pasco County Libraries observes Staff Development Day.

The branch's website says the library will reopen at its regular hours Tuesday, October 13. The Wesley Chapel Branch is located at 27531 Mystic Oak Boulevard, Wesley Chapel, FL 33544, and its listed phone number is 352-518-5064.

For families, students and residents who planned to stop by Monday, the closure means in-person services at the branch will not be available that day. That includes browsing shelves, using branch spaces, picking up holds in person or attending in-branch activities.

Regular posted hours for the Wesley Chapel Branch are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. The branch is listed as closed on Sundays.

Residents who need library access during the closure can still use Pasco Libraries' digital resources. The library system lists resources such as Libby for eBooks, eAudiobooks, eComics and eMagazines; Flipster for magazines; LearningExpress for skills and test preparation; LinkedIn Learning; Transparent Language; ABCmouse; TumbleBook Library and other databases.

The library's Borrow page also lists digital and nontraditional library options, including eBooks, eAudiobooks, eMagazines, Discovery Pass, Launchpads, video games, seed library items, Wi-Fi hotspots and other Library of Things materials. Availability may vary by item and account status.

The practical advice for Monday is simple: check the catalog and digital resources online, confirm branch hours before leaving home and move any in-person library errand to Tuesday or later.

Residents planning children's activities, homework help or a library visit later in the week should also check the Wesley Chapel Branch calendar before going, since events and availability can change.
